Mark
Walker Show 1998
In Oct 98, we organized a solo performance by Mark Walker
for our Western Expatriate Customers. Mark is a popular
TV Star and does various guest appearances on BBC’s
“laughter show”. |

Seminars on “Lateral
Thinking”-1998
To commemorate the launch of the Commercial Foreign
Exchange division at all our Branches exclusively to
handle the F.E business of our Corporate Customers from
small, medium and large companies, seminars were held
for their senior management staff, at Abu Dhabi, Dubai,
Sharjah, Fujairah and Al Ain on Dr. Edward De Bono’s
“ Lateral Thinking”. |

Overseas Bankers Exhibition-2000
For the first time in the UAE, we organized a Bankers
Exhibition, which brought various Asian Banks to Dubai
under one roof. It was an ideal opportunity for the
Asian and Far Eastern expatriate communities living
and working in the UAE to directly interact with the
Bankers from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh
and the Philippines and to abreast themselves with the
latest development in the Banking sector. |

2001.
A Sri Lankan Musical band was flown in from Sri Lanka
to play for our customers mainly at garment factories
and hotel Staff accommodation camps. |

Seminars -2001
A series of seminars on “Customer Service Excellence”
were held all over UAE for our Customers from Hotels,
Outlets, Airlines, hospitals, Duty Free shops etc. This
was our modest contribution in enhancing the level of
Customer service in the UAE and as part of our contribution
towards the Government’s drive for Quality. |

The Chairman of The Federal Bank Limited, India, Mr.
Padmakumar was the guest of honour and key note speaker
in this seminar hosted by us for the Indian expatriate
community mainly hailing from the State of Kerala. |

A special Philippine Musical Band was organized for

Bates Show 2003
A world renowned Comedy Stage Hypnotist was brought
from UK to entertain our Western expatriate customers
in the UAE. The shows were held at Dubai and Abu Dhabi
for a packed audience who were left spellbound for over
2 hours. |
